First off, Marilyn Manson is a guy. The rumors you all hear are stupid. His name comes from the forming of two names. Marilyn Monroe (good) and Charles Manson (Evil). It's the combining of the two that make it so unique. There's a quote in one of his autobiography CD's that says, "It's like a horseshoe, two opposite sides, never touching, but forever joined" or something close to that. but you get the picture. He's showing the world that there is evil and there is good. it's in everybody. he also shows us that we are finding ourselves a new god. The T.V. We do what the T.V. says and we believe in the T.V. Well isn't that the definition of a god??? Anyway, Marilyn Manson is a wonderful, brilliant, artist. And he's a guy. God I hate that question.

HE merged Marilyn Monroe and Charles Manson for his name. His looks ... well, he continually changes his look and sound for "effect" and attention (kind of like Madonna has done over the years). It IS a great marketing strategy! No one ever knows what he will do next. Years ago, Frank Zappa decided to do classical music (instead his usual bizarre brand of off-beat rock) at one of his concerts, just to catch the crowd off guard, and to expose them to another genre. It got a lot of publicity ! (and isn't that the 'name of the game'?)

His name is Brian but he doesnt like anyone calling him that....He is a very good gothic rock singer. He is married no kids yet. Im guessing but his name could be a symbol of good and evil....Marilyn as in Monroe...and Manson as in Charles.
However, there is his bands website so go check it out.

All i know is that he is a guy. NOW. but i think i've heard somewhere that he was in a christian school when he was young & he got too confused about everything and stuff like that i also heard that when he was 9 years old he sat in his room & closed the light & put 9 black candles around him & was singing to the devil & his mom walked into him and asked him what he was doing & he said i'm singing to the devil. Although i am not so sure about that.
