I was looking at buying the Marshall MG15DFX (15W with DFX & CD input) for £80 any opinions on this amp?

I've played it, it's alright for what it is. If you are just starting out, it will serve purpose for around 8 months to a year.

The best thing you could do is wait, save your money and buy a better one, with guitar gear always get the best you can afford so you don't outgrow it too quickly.

i had a marshall mg80cd...and it was the biggest piece of crap i ever owned...if you are looking for some ommph in a little amp, go with a crate...i have a 15 watt model that ive had for goin on 10 years now...i had to replace the speaker 4 years after i bought it but all in all its a great lil practice amp....and they are reasonably priced too
