It's not impossible, it's a "choice" whether you are conscious of it or not. Most of us become so angry because of the hurt, that we want to make damn sure that no one gets the chance to do it again. In order to really love someone, you've got to be willing to take a risk, and that means that you might get hurt, for some people it's too much. Either way it is a choice you make.

It feels the same way for a man who's been treated dirty....it will get better as time goes by, at least that's what I tell myself. Reading some of the women responses on this site has actually helped me see that we still have some good ones out there

If i understood the question, i think it is simple, when you trust some one (that you believe is trustworthy) and he fails you then you feel like you no longer can trust others, and even your feelings because you have seen it all fail. But i believe that their is more to the problem... if you stay in that way of thinking then you will block yourself from a chance to be happy in the future. I hope i answered your question.

I can relate. Being lied to for years and years, and when I mentioned I wanted out of the marriage, he tries to kiss @ss... and I can't trust him to be honest now, even if he is honest in most things.

Aww, hug for you. Sorry to hear of you hurting
We can distort the pain and memories that haunt us and moments better forgotten can be warped in time if we open our hearts and allow love to the remedy of healing
Give yourself time and separate each as they are individuals. Try not to judge but rather allow time to show you they can be trusted
For You, learn to love yourself and seek your inner child and learn to trust yourself. Your instincts will never fail you but more often than not we fail our instinct-when we learn to listen to it we can 'feel' trust
God Bless You xxx

We have feelings too, so the feeling is mutual. It just takes time and personal growth to get over being hurt. Good Luck,Grow and Forgive.
