May be we think of them as non-living only becuase they do not comply to our self made defination of living?? If so, than we are so ridiculously trying to search for ET beings. They are all around us.

In the ancient philosophy of Kashmir Shaivism, there is a text called the Spanda Karikas. Spanda is a Sanskrit word for pulsation, vibration, which is sometimes translated as "sacred tremor." In this philosophy everything which has a form is made of spanda, this pulsating, vibrating energy.

It's my understanding that recent discoveries in physics have determined that particles pulse in and out of "existence." So things are "there" and "not there" in very rapid succession. If this is so, science is catching up with what the ancient yogis always knew.....

Whether they are living or not I'll leave to you, but I would suggests that they're not 'beings' the same way that you and I are beings because they can't make decisions. That is, that every move an atom makes is governed by the laws of kinetics or physics.

Notice that if our decisions (especially moral ones) were governed solely by movements of atoms then we would not be so much human beings, as human machines.

it extremely is no longer the atom / molecules which comes to a decision the living or non living entity/concern. it extremely is the action of the atom / molecules. i do no longer comprehend ur question "What occurs that issues like us are produced from nonlivings?".
