You're a jerk! I'm a single mother with noone else to care for my daughter or I would be fighting for our countries safety. I fight every day to put food on the table. What's your excuse, Mr. "I could do it better" . Really???? What would you do better?? Reduce security? That's an excellent idea, that way, innocent people can die while trying to take a flight back home to their loved ones. That almost happened 2 months ago. Wow! Glad you weren't in charge! This is not something that I ever think about, sadly, I should think about it more often. If you live in the USA, get a grip! They are terrorists, their name fits them for a reason. They will take their own lives to kill a few Americans. I don't totally agree with this war, but where would we be without it? I hate to think about it!

He gets $400,000 a year, No bonus for american lifes. Lets see t Hussian paid $25,000 to the families of suicide bombers, so they got paid. Not to mention300,000 Kurds he killed plus about another 500,000 Iran killed about 50,000, Syria has about 100,000 "missing" or in jail.Kadafi blue up Pan Am flight over the Atlantic, Hamas murdered 225 Marines in lebonon and lobs missles into Isreal, Bin Laden murdered 3,500 on 9/11. Lets not forget Kandar where muslims are currently slaughtering non muslims.

That God botherer George W Bush gets paid to much one way or another. Even so he has earned millions in oil with Dick Cheney's help. I fear, he will not only accept a bonus for each American live, he will also get a special bonus for all the civilians his cowboys smithern to death from high above day in day out. How Americans could vote that boy a second time into office is beyond believe.

To answer your question, though it's clearly rhetorical, the US president's salary was doubled on January 20, 2001 (the day the current president took office), and is now $400,000 annually.
This is, of course, not nearly enough compensation for having to put up with, among other things, the sniping of European expatriates who believe that terrorists should be granted free rein.
