First of all, whats your reason for not wanting to be friends anymore? Try to hold onto it at least for a little while longer if the reason isn't a big one.It would probably be easier to just give them the hint then to actually tell them you dont want to be friends. Hang out with other people and hang out with her less and less, if she asks to hang out tell her you're busy. If she asks whats up and why you two don't hang out anymore just tell her that you don't think you two make good friends anymore, and you think that both of you should probably just go your seperate ways. It might be difficult for her to hear if shes a good friend, but if you really don't want to be friends with her anymore, let her know that. Don't just keep being friends with her for sympathy, or its not even a real friendship. Just so you know, in no way is this going to be easy, and someones feelings are bound to get hurt. But you have to do what you have to do in life.

Just tell her the truth in a nice way. The two of you don't have nothing in common and at this moment you feel this way.
Give also reasons so that may-be she will understand the situation and accept a no. It is part of life.

Tell them politely that you don't really have anything in common and you just don't feel a friendship with them. What ever you say be honest about your feelings. Not wanting to be friends with someone doesn't mean you like them any less it's just that you don't "click"
