Are they in fact 'working too hard'? Some would say that the work ethic in the US is hardly existant anymore. Other countries have skilled, educated laborors who work longer days than those in this country. I'm not talking about sweat-shops and cheap-labor either, I'm talking about lawyers and educators and accountants and others like that.

Or when you say 'working too hard' do you mean physically? Are people in the United States, in general, doing more physical labor, and therefore less knowledge-based labor, than they should be doing based on the economic and education factors that push this country in comparison to other countries in the world? Basically, we have this huge economy, and a good network of higher-education; why don't more people have jobs that are intellect based and not physical labor based??
