X Men 3?? regardless of the title: the last stand... i'm just curious bcoz there are 2 scenes that followed in the end.. one is when magneto tried to control the chess piece, and another was when a girl(?) checked a man(?)... there was no sound so i didn't get the point of it. did it imply something? for the movie? or for a sequel? answer intelligently as if you have a source, better if you have a source.. don't answer if you don't know because that's not an answer.

I honestly think that there will be an X4 movie. Remember the scene that came out after the credits? The nurse called the comatose patient, 'Charles'. Professor X was discussing something about some mutants being able to enter the bodies of people. He was discussing the question of ethics regarding this to the younger students. But the discussion was cut short when he noticed the bad weather caused by Storm's preoccupied thoughts. So, that last scene implies that the professor might have taken over the comatose body.
Also, the last scene Magento had, when he was playing chess by himself in the park? His pieces were made of metal, and he was able to make one piece move a bit. This implies that the so-called 'cure' developed at Alcatraz is just temporary. So, this notion might be developed into another movie. Hopefully, coz I really like Xmen! \m/

There will be spin off movies but not likely to be an X-men 4. You can read more about it in some of the yahoo movies information, Greg's previews I think it is, he has a lot of information related to possible X-Men future films.
The end of the movie was a lead in for a possible future, which could or could not happen. I watched a movie called History of the World part 1, which had a complete trailer for Part 2, but it was just a joke. So sometimes they give you an opening to another movie if they feel the market is right and the right script comes along its always possible they will try and squeeze some more cash out of the X-men series.

I was watching a interview with Hallie Berry who said that there wasn't a contract for a fourth movie, so at that time the answer was no. However, she suggested that fans go see the movie as many times as possible, being that Hollywood is a business and if the money is there: a sequel could exist.

Of course there will be another movie. It's all about the money honey!!! Look at all the Star Trek movies that came out. The Planet of the Ape movies as well. It's only a matter of time.

well with magneto, they're implying he may still have his powers
and the girl chrcking the man at the end if im correct is where xavier is still alive and he transported his spirit into that comatos patient.
....so yeah, professor x isnt dead.
in terms of xmen 4, it looks more likely to be spin offs. it is in the works that there is a wolverine movie coming our way and yep you guest it, hugh jackman stars.

I beleive that there are a couple of movies in the pipeline, one a magneto film and one a prequel to the series about young magneto and Charles.

The movies are based on a graphic novel - so there are many options of where they can go with future movies. They can either continue on in the story, break off into single character movies or go with prequals. There are several ideas in the works - but no solid plans as of yet as to where they are going to go with it. Stay tuned for updates.

that nurse in the last scene had a vegetable for a patient (somewhere in the middle of the story), and then there was that question in class whether one can come back from the dead.. and it was said that it was possible to transfer into another living body.. (back to the last scene..) the supposedly comatosed patient greeted the nurse by name. and the startlednurse said: "Charles?" so, he had come back.. hence... XIV! my opinion. but i'm quite sure about it coming soon.

I think there should be another one. & about the part where the girl comes in to check on the man, the man is Professor Xavier.

I think so...as the producer earn blockbuster hits like X-men, for sure they will make another trill movie.....I hope there is another one
