A friend's daughter is coming over from Oz to work for Qantas out of Heathrow and wants to rent for a couple of years - any ideas would be welcome and I can then email on the best ones to her parents to pass on to her.. Also good estate agents for that area? Thanks!

The place in London where lots of people from OZ rent homes is West Kensington to Hamersmith areas.
If she is working at Heathrow then somewhere on the piccadilly tube line through west London would be good. That way she has a community of OZ people and can commute to Heathrow. suggested starting place is W14 post code area (West Kensignton).
If you need to do soem research check http://www.simple2rent.co.uk. Mind you you will find places expensive to rent in London so unless she is sharing it may be too much to pay. Thus try looking for flat shares, you will find some rooms to rent on simple2rent but otherwise try gumtree.com for flatshare.

Hounslow - three tubes stations, east/central and west. Easy quick access to Heathrow by road or tube.

there's quite a few places up for rent in the surrounding areas of Bath Road that are very nice.

anywher west of hammersmith close to the piccadilly line. try shepherds bush she should not get home sick there.
