There are 4 port modes, SPP, ECP,EPP and ECP&EPP, can you explain each and thier function ?

This is a setting in my Bios, I was just wandering what would happen if changed.

SPP use the parallel port as standard printer port
EPP use the parallel port as enhanced parallel port
ECP use the parallel port as extended capability port

Use the first
If you are using the usb for your printer it doesn't cange anything if you change this seting
