his family is trying to keep him from getting hurt but all they are really doing is pushing him away if he is still with you.
try and focus on the two of you and dont worry about the family and all their concerns. cause if they dont like it too bad. not everyone can be happy at once.

During the breakup / divorce, he probably cried on their collective shoulders about what a ***** you are and how you did all those mean things to him and made him unhappy. So, of course they now think they have to protect him against you hurting him again. Mind you, I'm not saying you did anything at all to him, I'm just saying that their loyalties lie with him, not you. Decide whether you can live with that, or if it would be better to leave well enough alone and move on.

I had the same problem, it will never work they will always come inbetween you 2 unless he is willing to cut them off. The Outlaws are insufferable people who just want to see you miserable. I know mine were. Im glad i dont have to see my troll of a mother in law anymore.

First of all, IS HE DOING ANYTHING TO HELP YOU IN THIS SITUATION ??? If not, this one's not worth fighting for ...
If you have his support, you guys can solve this issue together. He has to tell his family that YOU are the one he wants to spend his life with & share his life with. He must try & make them understand how important you are to him. This will help you in the long run.
Good luck to you :-)

Who can say what is normal, you just have to try to do what is best for the two of you. If his family trully cares about him the will want what is best for him. Whatever that might be
