Is it somehow possible to disable the automatic installation of WinXP drivers when I plug in new hardware into the PC, because when I plug in the hardware, WinXP installs wrong drivers for it, and I can't install the real drivers, that I have.

The problem is that, when I reboot Windows or when I uninstall the drivers, automaticlly the Windows installs the drivers. I can't choose where to install from.

you could actually select the option on the first screen in the box for add new hardware *add only this time
