long long ago in a galaxy far far away, i got a baby rat. a few days later i got a baby hamster. then the next month i got Leela. i put them together and they are inseperable. Leela(hamster) without star (rat) is like jelly without peanut butter. Leela has had some big scares in her life. she got wet tail more times than i can cout, she is better now though. tommy(hamster) star and leela are the perfect posse.

Sounds normal to me... my dog thinks that our pet rats are her babies, she is always washing them and they curl up on the lounge together and have a nap. And our other dog plays ball with our cockatoo, Beau (the cockatoo) throws the ball up and the dog runs and gets it and takes it back, they play like this for ages....

That is actually quite cute. It's not unheard of though. Different animals can get on. We used to have a cat, then we got a dog. They clicked pretty well. And obviously, guinea pigs and rabbits are put together in the pet shop.
Well I'm glad they've found a lasting friendship.

Wow... How terrible. it truly is almost certainly no longer favourite. adult males might want to be aggressive notwithstanding it truly is a concepts accessible. I somewhat have heard of truly aggressive adult males killing cage associates, yet in difficulty-free words once they have fought for a lengthy time period (weeks or months) yet not in any respect disemboweling and eating yet another rat. the actual incontrovertible truth that he replaced into so disillusioned that he tried to flee the cage in any such dramatic way makes me imagine that he had significant psychological subject matters or replaced into horrified himself about what handed off. tell your buddy that what handed off replaced into tragic, yet there's a one in a million probability of that happening back. Rats are regularly very sweet and social creatures. enable her comprehend that she might want to get some extra rats, and if she is apprehensive about aggression, have her get 2 youthful females. they seem to be a lot extra likely to get alongside.
