i have to write a research paper on a topic. the topic must be scholarly and have a lot of research done on it. i have to then find somethin that has been fully or partially ignored in the research and try to support it. Thanks!

i have to choose a scholarly argument being discussed in a scholarly feild.but i shud be able to find sumthin original or almost original in it.i cud consider some side of argument that has been neglected. for ex, instead of takin historical approach to the battle of water loo, i cud propose a cultural anthropologists approach. i gotta think abt what am i bringin to the argument? what is new abt my idea? why wud a scholar in this field listen to me?

Are Pharmacuetical companies ruining our healthcare system-
There is certainly enough info about this out there, but you could examine the side effects of certain prescriptions causing a person to need more drugs to counteract the bad effects, and the vicious cycle that follows. You could also look at the cost associated with this, as some insurance companies won't cover the secondary drugs because they don't treat the original problem.

A little more detail would help. You say scholarly - but not really an area. Are you looking for English? Science? Literature? History? I mean, there are tons of topics out there that you can chose from. Perhaps if you added what it was for, you would find a bit more help.
