i am new to computer and have got windows xp,
i tryed to download windows one care and it says that it cannot do this because i need 256ram, what do i do and could you give me clear instructions so u guide me to fix problem if u can.['

i thought a ram was a goat or ramming into a wall
dont fancy getting rammed 256 times, unless it is under neath a nice female

Buy more RAM. I promise you, yahoo the directions to replace the memory on your computer (desktop of laptop), and you can do it yourself. Make sure you get at least 256. I'd recommend that ifyour upgrading though, get 512mb of RAM

RAM is the memory of the computer...you either need to clean up your hard disc...which you can access via the Control Panel maintenance option (gives you an option to "free up disc space") or buy a computer with more memory...

see if your softeware or game says that you require a 256 mb ram that means your computer has a lower configuration if you want to see go to my computers then right click then press properties youll see the computer configuration on the box that will appear on your pc

Go to Start and click on help and support tpye in vitual memory and follow instuction this will help with you Random Access Memory.

ram is physical u can't just lose it unless u remove it from the box...
