I seem to have set/ installed everything ok, the connection is fine, signal excellent etc but when I try to access the net via internet explorer it says cannot find server. This is driving me nuts! could someone please help? I've done everything according to the dlink installation manual. The modem and router are set up on another computer in the house (not by me :-))

Make sure that the router is broadcasting the internet. The other computer may be plugged into the internet via an Ethernet plug. If that works, make sure that your getting signal again. If all that is working properly, something you bought is broken.

Your Browser didn't detect ur connection... Guide ur Browser towards ur Wireless network.... For that, u must know the IP address of ur connection... If so...

If you are sure that ur Wireless connection is succesfully installed, then...

In the Explorer you have to change some of the settings... Follow the steps below...

Open ur Explorer (Internet Explorer) >> Tools >> Internet Options >> Connections tab >> You will see ur Wireless network available there >> Select and click Settings >> select the first two check box and tye the IP address of ur connection in the space below >> In the Proxy server coloumn, check the box and click Advanced, Type the IP address in the HTTP coloumn and check the box below >> Click OK and come back >> Click the Properties, In the Networking tab, click the Properties and type ur IP address >> Save it and close >> Restart and open again...

1.Right click on internet explorer button.
2.click on internet properties
3.click on the connections tab
4.click on Setup to setup a New internet connection..
5.Then click on Add...

If if doesnt work right away then restart your computer...
If that doesnt work I would suggest updating your Internet Explorer or try downloading Mozilla FireFox..It works alot better for high speed connections anyways...
