It a good thing to want to be a dad if you ask me (provided the time is ripe) so, all you need do is to make all necessary arrangements and get things ready to receive your unborn child into the world. Also remember to support your wife in every little way you can. Good luck and i must tell you that there is nothing as good as having a baby to call your own.

Congratulations, becoming a father is a wonderful experance, you'll love it and sometimes even hate it in the same breath. My husband was shocked when I told him I was pregnant as we hadn't been together that long at first he though I should have an abortion but as I had already decided that wasn't an option and I was already a mother to a 1 year old son, he took a few weeks to come to terms with the idea but now he wouldn't change it for the world. Meanwhile his daughter is a splittin image of him, even down to the additude. Its a wonderful feeling knowing that is your flesh and blood.
I think the best way to get your head around it is if you go with your partner to the anti-natal appointments and involve yourself into the pregnancy, She might be carring the baby but its your baby so you can enjoy the smaller things aswell. The first ultrasound will give you a woarm feeling and still a marcho one, been able to see the baby makes it all real for the father-to-be, then you get to feel the first movements at about 24-25 weeks, its an amazing feeling.
You will do fine becoming a parent can be very overwelming but you will be rewarded in the most amazing ways, remember this is a little you so it will grow up watching everything you do and coping you because you are there hero and they want to be just like their daddy. Children are amazing entitainment, you don't need a tv when you have children because its like watching funny home videos live.
Been a parent isn't always easy as it is a persons life in your hands but you will learn from experance what your child likes and dislikes so you can work on what suits them best. Other parents will want to put their 2 cents in about how to raise your child but its up to you to take the advice that suits you, your child won't be the same as your friend's or the naibours, even your familys its all trial and error and you will do fine.
Think positive and it will be every bit as wonderful as you could imagion. Good luck and enjoy every moment of the pregnancy and fatherhood.

ok so u r gonna be a dad, dont panic this is a great time,
u may be scared but once the wee one arrives you will fall deeoply in love with this baby and u will think bank and wonder why u were so scared,
it is very natural for a new daddy to feel overwhelmed but in my experience, give ur mum to be all the support she needs, be there to rub her feet, shave her legs hold her hair back when she has morning sickness haha.
the website below should help with all the questions about babys and fatherhood that are whizzing about ur head,
good luck and congratulations xx

well, it all kind of depends on what kind of help you need. 1) if you don't want to be a dad, then the decision to terminate pregnancy should be both of your decisions. I would make a pro and con list and go over it w/ your partner, to come to a decision you both agree w/. 2)if you're proud and happy w/ this news, then i suggest you buy a pregnancy book; most have sections w/in for a brand new father. i could take you through it, but come on...there isn't enough space in this thing. i will tell you this though, get a whole lot of diapers and clothes babies go through them very quick, make sure you have a lot and i mean a lot. if you have any more questions just post. most people are willing to help answer them.

Congratulations. Time to grow up fast and rise to the challenge of being the best dad and husband you can be. Don't let this become another sad situation of a child who has no choice but to live without a father figure - be better than that. You can do it -thousands of men have before you! Good luck

This could be the best thing that ever happened to you.
Don't look at this as a negative thing.
Think of all the good that come out in this.
It is easier to see the dark side of things. Live up to your responsibilities and the rewards will be great... Good luck..

everytime a guy finds out that they are going to be fathers they freak, but thats normal the mothers may seem happy while the fathers are scared to death, but to know the truth us woman can be just as scared so your not alone talk to your wife or girlfriend i dont no which but i know she will listen. you might be scared now but when you hold that perfect little baby that will look like you and the woman you love in your arms, your fear goes away. just keep in mind that soon YOU will be someone's role modle and you will be something that alot of men wish they were, and thats a father.
