I just watched it... there was nothing else on, and I have a question. Where the heck did the Scott guy go? Was him coming back completely a trick or did he come back and was crying in bed when the rest of the movie happened, and him in the elevator was fake. I'm confused. Help please!

Didnt Scott get sucked into the puddle in the parking garage trying to pull out carolanne?? All the polergiest moveis gave me nightmare i had to sleep for a week with my light on...
