Yep. You've got rights too. Don't ever let the narcisistic media and pompous health nuts tell you how you have to shop! If you need that extra room at the check-out counter, then you go, girl! If you need to take up a little extra room on the airline seat next to yours, then you lift your head up high and let that skinny man next to you know that you're big and you're proud. While you're proudly staking claim to the territory necassary to fit your extra loving onto, you tell that pencilneck sitting next to you where he can find your insulin shot in case your diabetes flairs up.
Just because you eat more than most small families doesn't mean you can't shop with some dignity. You need that extra love around your hips for warmth during cold winter nights. You go right ahead and feed your little fat furnace like you know you can. You inhale 3 or 4 Weight Watchers pies in one sitting, and kknow that it's not really so bad because it's 'diet food'.

I use the self checkout lanes for getting my lunch break meals. The lines are short and move fast. Time is on our side when working, these help get through the long waiting lines of customers. They work and are convenient when purchasing a few items and in a hurry.

No, they are three feet wide, some are more, they accomodate the major percentage of the population, I would rather the extra check out counter on a busy day than to widen all of them so larger people can get thru

Americans don't need further encouragement to be over weight. We, as a nation, are big enough. I say more perks for those of us who actually work at staying healthy! It isn't easy.
