Honestly, your teacher is probably just trying to trick you, since there really isn't any place in the real universe where chemistry is not present.

You can argue, however, that chemistry is not present in something along the lines of "ideas" or something. If it were me, I'd say "Chemistry is not present in theoretical mathematics, such as set theory." You've got your teacher there, as that statement is 100% true! But you won't find anywhere in the real world where chemistry is not present. The things studied in chemistry make up the entire universe.
