Different photo editors have different features. Common features are "cropping" (cutting out a rectangular region, throwing away the edges), making it black and white, enhancing color, removing red-eye, etc., etc. Check out the links below for some more info.

It edit's your photos, such things like: making it black and white, making it bigger, or just putting text on the pictures. I edit my photos all the time!
