Biology and chemistry. And Latin!
Ask your guidance counselor for advice NOW - don't wait until you're IN college lest you discover the departments you need to take core classes in aren't as strong as the departments in a college that successfully graduates lots of folks in pre-med.

A strong background in all the basics help, but a focus on Biology and Chemistry would be good. The main thing is to learn good study skills so that no matter what you are studying later on you can succeed.

all the ap classes you can handle and sciences of course..and upper level math too...the only time you really need math is to pass the MCATS to get into medical school..and then do well in all these classes..means lots of study and less fun..but if that is your goal..and its a good goal..just remember that high school is only 4 shorts years...you're talking about the rest of your life...

Umm you should ask this once you get into a college that concentrates in meds. I would suggest a lot of calculus, environmental sciences, human anatomy, or physiology (those are classes in my high school). Other than that, there are usually programs that help students kick off in a major they're interested in (ask about it at your career center, every HS should have one).
