I love him(or at least I think I do), but hes an idiot. He always forgets about me. Not one bit romantic. But hes faithful. We ve been on and off these past years and we just broke up. Its been about a month now. I always thought of us as married. As weird as that sounds. I fell like Im sining when I go on dates. I dont know what to do.

your just "used" to him, give it some time, if he doesnt make you happy you HAVE to move on ,try to be open to new people, if you feel guilty then just decide before any date that there will be nothing sexual going on, just keep it friendly and you shouldnt feel bad. in time youll feel better about it.
i think the fact that you feel that way shows your a loyal person and thats a really admirable thing. youll ok but you have to do what you have to do and your heart will tell you what that is.

Please let go of him!!!!!!!!!!!! You are just use to him, I really think the relationship is over and now you feel lonely and may-be afraid to be alone. I would see it as exciting and challenging what the future can hold for me. A relationship either makes you happy or forget about it. When it starts being on and off it means that the both of you don't want to face the fact that it is over!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Get the courage to talk about seriously. I suggest that you take a trip if you can , may- be in anther country and enjoy life. Believe me this relationship is already dead.

It's supposed to be a big, wide world out there.
I believe you are still young.
You need to get involved with somebody that you can truly love, and who will return love.
Love is a two way street.
Your casual relationship seems like a buddy/buddy arrangement, rather than something serious that will lead to marriage.
I believe that in these awkward times we are living in, many people fall into relationships out of sympathy rather than dealing from strength.
I don't know where yours is heading, but it looks very shallow and lacking the spark which is the essense of a good foundation.

5 years and you don't know if you love him-come on. faithfullnes is great but there are other factors to be considered. what's up w breaking up and making up? you need to get it out of your head that you are married. you're not and why would you want to be to someone who forgets about you? move on.

What's your life like without him and what's his like without you? ie do you both have a job, hobbies...? This will help tell you what to do and why he forgets about you.
