Personally, I fear our government and this administration's increasingly aggressive steps to strip our rights and freedoms from us one by one. to me, that is far more evil than the so-called "terrorist threat" or the various criminal elements.
Our government is screwing us horribly, and the average American not only doesn't seem to care, they almost seem to welcome it.

Well I think gangs are important at the time being and
sex-predators as well. But ofcourse there will come a time when we laugh at all that. The time when terrorists would be a major threat is if the U.S decides to invade Iran. Terrorists would spread awkwards everywhere.I mean we have had so many close calls this year including that High Jacking plot that failed.
If you look carefully all those things were discovered at the perfect
time.

Yes, I think money spent on the war in Iraq could have been better spent on domestic issues. But, why stop there. There is alot of government spending that should be eliminated and more spent on domestic issues. What about national health care coverage? Free higher-education? More teachers and better schools. The list goes on and on. But, come election time the politicians will have us arguing over gay marritages and abortions. We have to stop blaming the government and start blaming ourselves because real change starts at the voters. We put them there and we can take them out.

No but what I fear more than the terrorists which Bush and Rumsfeld have obviously helped to create, is the reduction of our freedoms, especially when it comes to fair trials, made by the Patriot Act and Military Commissions Act.

You and many others apparently remain unaware or lack the knowledge of what the intent of the terrorists really is. Is why I truly feel sorry for the blindness you apparently live within.
