Yeah, id say its bad. I never did the hyperventilation thing, or did it to myself. I let my ex girlfriend try it on me a few times, where she kneeled behold me and choked me with her arm and layed me down, and I passed out and when i woke up it took me like 10 seconds to realize what happened, who she was, and where i was. Which tells me, thats not good. I was told that what actually makes you pass out is lack of oxygen to your brain, which means that for those few seconds, your brain is suffering and can not perform its necessary tasks. Ive been told it IS possible to die from it, but I guess you could die from anything? I would recommend against it though. It is dangerous.

I don't know about the "choking game". I knew some friends who were so wanting to get "high" they used to do something similar, for a few seconds of feeling odd.

What I do know is this. I have a severe form of sleep apnea. When I sleep, I stop breathing for a time, and my blood oxygen levels goes down, then I wake, and breath normal again. I have to sleep using a machine, a CPAP machine, that blows air into my air passageways, and keeps me breathing normalm all night.

So, I know what it is like to have a lack of oxygen in the bloodstream. I didn't, and I don't find it "fun".

I used to wake up, confused, not sure of where I ws, who I was. It would sometimes take close to a minute for me to get my bearings. I'd wake and be a different person to my loved ones, and freinds, until I could get enought oxygen into my brain and throw the fog off.

Lack of oxygen is dangerous to the brain. I've had an ultrasound scan of my heart, for damage the Apnea did to me...luckily nothing. I do believe I have developed some brain damage, I now have dyslexia, that I didn't have before, and my typing ability has gotten suspect, with me needing the speelchecker to correct spelling errors from bad hand-eye coordination. All this from lack of oxygen getting to my brain.

So, yeah, it's bad for you, huffing is bad, if you really feel the need to get high, then smoke a bloody joint or somethin. MJ or even acid would be better for you than messing around with deliberately blacking out due to lack of oxygen in your brain.

Hail Eris! All Hail Discordia!

Do you mean the "Choking Game?" Some kids think there's nothing wrong with it - but I totally disagree. This is definitely a VERY dangerous game. I know that several kids have died from this - A kid died in Wichita, KS last year playing the game. I have heard some people get off on this type of thing as well, (enhances orgasm/sex play???) but since I'm not into pain and don't want to try anything that I may die from, I don't get the risk....

This game has a lot of different names. Check out the site below.

If those of you who have tried the game previously and the words at the site are to big for you, then you can guess why.

O2, the body needs it people. Its not a hard concept to grasp!

How do you know if you won if you are blacked out? It is childish and you could bang your head on something.
