Hi, I have a website that I want to advertise. As it isn't a business website I only want to use free hosts. What are the best ones to use? Cheers.

Depending on what you want, there are two.
Geocities
Geocities has an annoying amount of ads, but fast servers. You can only upload 15 MB and you get little bandwith, but if you don't have a lot of big images, movies, or downloads, you'll be fine.

FreeWebs has really no ads, but the slowest connection ever. The limit on upload sizes and bandwith are small, but downloading things takes forever from them. If you just have little graphics and text, it shouldn't be a problem.

Your ISP gives you about 10-25mb free hosting with each Mail Account.
To advertize the site, put allotta text that will make the google bots find it.
