in 1881 the ok corral was owed by John Montgomery...however, the gunfight that made it famous didn't actually happen there.
The battle between the Earps and the Clanton gang took place in an emptry lot between the Camillus Fry boarding house, and the house of William Harwood, BEHIND the OK Corral.
"The Gunfight kinda sorta near the OK Corral", just doesn't have the same ring to it

The OK Corral is such a minor, trivial piece of history about a bunch of insignifigant people, why do you want to keep it alive? They've made 3 very boring movies about it. I wish we could just extract this incident from the history books and everybody's memory because it has as much value as what's going on with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
