Is a $780 dress to much for a halloween costume???? I could wear it in other places..and it is gorgeous..

I don't think it's too much to spend..especially if you can afford it..than hey why not! Sometimes you have to spend a little extra money for things you want..take care of you...treat yourself!

For $780 I hope it's made by a well know designer, still I wouldn't buy it if Halle Berry wore it. I think that is definitely too much. Go to Macy's or JC Penny. You'll still have a high quality look without paying the expensive price! Good Luck!

Sounds to me like its a bit much, site unseen. If I were spending that much money on anything, I would want it to be right in front of me so I could have a touchy feely thing going on. Unless you are guaranteed it is an original then I would pass and pick up a dress closer to home. Way to much for a halloween costume.

I would say yes but since it's only one night why not. Just be careful. If you are still uncomfterble with the idea od hurting the dress you might want to go to a thrift store and try and find one similar. Hey if you can afford than yeah do it. What I wouldn't kill to beb able to buy expensive clothes.

If you've got the money to buy it of course it's not too much. You only live once, if you see something you like, buy it. It sounds like you'll definitely have the best costume there.

Yes, it's too much. It's half-way to a really cool plasma TV.
And a really cool plasma TV will probably get you a boyfriend who will last all football season, and basketball season.
Or go cheap on yourself and donate the rest to poor kids who need warm coats for winter.

if it were me that was buying it... then yes. but, that depends on how much money you have to spend and where else you will find it useful. if you have the money and you want the dress, then why not?
