This is what Cornelia told us so far about "Inkdawn", the third part of her "Inkheart" trilogy:

"I have more than 700 script pages - which approximates the length of "Inkspell". "Inkdeath" does not go with the story anymore. The final title will be "Inkdawn".

"Inkdawn" will start only a few weeks after the second part of the trilogy has ended - near Ombra - and you will meet again almost all characters from "Inkspell", joined by two new glass men and some more robbers. Some characters are going to play a more decisive role, such as Violante, Resa, and primarily Orpheus. This time, starting from Ombra the story will move north, not south, and ... well, I should not give away much more so far.

Presently I make provisions for the first revision, which I can`t wait to start with."

Cornelia finished the third part of the Inkheart trilogy!!!!

Meggie`s story is finished! Cornelia sent us the message yesterday (25. May). Now the script has to be revised, illustrated and translated. That`s why the book will not come out before 2008. So we all have to exercise patience, but maybe Cornelia will give away some appetizers to sweeten this time of waiting. We`ll keep you posted!
