I understand that many manufactures are changing the sizing of their clothes to make customers think they are a smaller size. The idea is that they will feel good about themselves and buy that brand because they are getting into a size 8 instead of a 12.

It annoys me, some shops stay true to the standards sizes and some will be one or two sizes bigger than the label says all for the sake of vanity!! I think all clothes should just have the measurements on them and it will save us all some hastle and then everyone can stop saying that size is too skinny, that size is too fat, etc. HTH : )

They all did something like this before, ppl think Marilyn Monroe was fat back in the day cuz she wore a size 12 in todays sizes she would have been a size 6

Maybe it has everything to do with no one knowing how to standardize a size anyway. It is the industry's way of saying "Oh I give up. We cannot guarrantee the same fit of the same size anyway. We never had, all these years
Everything varies from shop to shop to factory worker to factory worker. Might as well keep the customers happy.

I head that and I think its ridiculous that someone will actually fell better about false sizes......It is, what it is....
what will my size be a 3, and I know Im NOT.

I think it doesnt matter...it probably does make the customer feel good, but the company only cares that its clothes are sellign!!!

good intentions, but soon it'll be in style to wear a negative...no complaints here though, I'll happily take my size 8.
