The engine lights and gauges went haywire and the doors locked when I tried to crank it. The starter will turn over, but is making a clicking noise and there is no ignition.

possible low battery, likely if it has been sitting for a long time or the lights were left on. clean the battery terminalas and recharge it or get a boost and drive it a bit until it is recharged. If you have an alternator problem it should be lighting up the idiot lights.

Do NOT grind a starter motor. If your battery voltage is low the starter will draw too many amps and will fry(trust me on that one)

It's either a low battery or you Ecm may be going bad...( THat's the computer" Could this be still covered under warrantee?
Definitley check and make sure your battery connections are good first. The truck seems too new to have problems other than what I described could be wrong with it. But hey it is a Ford. What did you expect?
