I suggest you get yourself checked out. Not to scare you, but it could be a sign of something serious. go to your doc as soon as you can. the earlier you go the better it is for you

Most lumps and swellings are benign; some are caused by infection, others by injury, external pressure, inflammation, or obstruction to the flow of blood. Some are cancers. In general, when a lump or swelling appears suddenly (over 24 to 48 hours) and is painful, it is usually caused by an injury or an infection. On the other hand, if the lump comes on gradually (over several days or weeks) and does not hurt, it may be a tumor and should be seen by the doctor
Common causes:
lipomas, fatty lumps under the skin
fibromas, smooth growths under the skin
enlarged lymph glands, usually in the armpits, neck, and groin
cyst, a closed sac in or under the skin that is lined with skin tissue and contains fluid or semisolid material
boils, painful, red bumps usually involving a hair follicle
corn or callus, caused by skin thickening in response to continued pressure (for example, from shoes) usually occurring on a toe or foot
warts, a skin virus that develops a rough, hard bump, usually appearing on a hand or foot and often with tiny black dots in the bump
moles, skin-colored, tan, or brown, bumps on the skin
abscess, fluid trapped in a closed space from which it cannot escape that becomes infected
cancer of the skin (any colored or pigmented spot that bleeds easily, changes size or shape, or crusts and doesn't heal)

I used to get those as a teen and I weighed 95 pounds. Being overweight has nothing to do with it. It happens when the sweat and bacteria build up. It is uncomfortable but will go away. The best thing to do is put hot towel compresses on them. Don't be embarrased or afraid even. It's normal/

the last thing you should do is worry. the first thing you should do is have yourself checked and maybe do some medical research to find out what the source of the growth is. i hope you haven't had it for a long time. lumps (whether benign or not) don't usually manifest pain, but the swell should be checked by a doctor. good luck & stay healthy.

There are lymph nodes located in your armpit area. There can be several reasons for them to become enlarged and painful, including an active infection. The best thing to do is see your family doctor ASAP. Good luck.

It could be just fluid in the lumps, but have them checked out anyway... better to be safe than sorry.
I kept having lumps in my breasts & in the armpit area too... it was caffeine-fluid-pockets, so the doctor took me off caffeine... it took a few years, but I stopped having the lumps.

I am no Doc but, If it come and goes it could be white blood cells they build up under your arms between your legs and well they can be any where. Sometimes they are small and sometimes big. Just keep clean and see a doc if they get out of hand.
