Are the women normally married, too? Do some women actually look for this kind of situation? Is this common in your country? I am curious in this phenomenon for some research I'm doing.

Many reason's they just want to fool around without a commitment. I was in a 5 month relationship with a man i didn't know was married. I left him after he told me. There is rarely any happy ending to being a mistress. The man is most likely using the woman for sex and looking for her to make up for what he's not getting from his wife. I never had sex with this man though, thank God. Some of these women fall in love and get pregnant by these men and then are left in the dust as he goes back to his wife or his next prey/whore. Unwillingly mistresses such as myself are left realizing that we were in love with an illusion, something that isn't real. A married man who cheats can not offer me the future I desire.

I am married (now in the process of divorce), and have been seeing a married man for nine months. How did this happen? well, we have been friends for a couple years, good friends actually and as time went on we talked more and started talking about more personal things, and eventually our sex lives came up...non-existant sex lives in both cases....decided after talking it to death to become 'friends with benefits"....I wasn't looking for it, it just happened.........the problem? that was nine months ago...now I'm in love with him......what an idiot I am....

very common around here! and the woman is all too ready when her life grows boring and she feels unloved , sex is bad at home , lots of reasons why they do it.
