You need to go to the doctor as soon as you find out your pregnant so they can do blood tests and make sure everything is running smoothly, at 18 weeks you should be having your routine ultrasound to check everything is growing at the right rate with the baby and to maintain your general health. Your anti-natal appointments is so the doctor can keep an eye on your general health. From week 6-27 you should see the doctor once a month unless other problems, then from week 27-36 its every 2 weeks and once your 36 weeks its once a week until birth.

At an anti-natal check up they will check your blood at the first appointment and then again at week 26ish, every check up they check your blood pressure, urine, uterus size (it should be 1 cm for each week), fetal heartbeat, and any other questions you have about your pregnancy.

How do you know how far along you are if you have not gone to the doc? As soon as you find out your pregnant you should ALWAYS go to the doctor. You will have to eventually anyways. The 1st visit is always important bc they ask you about your medical and family history. This isn't a question that should have to be asked, so hurry up and make an appointment.

yes you should go to the doctor immediatliy, on mon. make an appt. if you do not have insurance go to you local health dept. or maybe a service for pregnant woman in your town, you should be able to get help easily. There are many tests and things your doctor looks for in early pregnancy, sometimes there is ectopic pregnancy where the baby is not developing right, it developes in the tubes.. tubal pregnancy.. you should go soon to the doctor. And if anything make sure you start prenatal vitamins.

You should probably go. There is a birth defects test you could have done, you could have heard your babys heart beat, there is many things that you need to do by 18 weeks. You could possiably know what your baby is..the sex is. Are you guessing that your 18 weeks pregnant?

Listen! A long time ago women didn't even realize that they were pregnant until they reached their 3rd, 4th, or 5th month. I am not making excuses. You should see a OB ASAP to make sure that you are as far along as you think etc. But I understand how you feel especially if you are doing fine and in good health. But still you need to do it.
