Thin Ice is correct. You should about 2 years before getting pregnant again. That's about how long it will take for your body to completly recover back to your normal health. But that's IF you take care of yourself in that amount of time. I suggest to keep taking the prenatal vitamins for at least a year after you have the baby. This way you will get everything back that your body gave to the baby. In fact you can take prenatal vitamins for as long as you want, as long as you dont take any other vitamins with it, too much can hurt you. Plus you'll have less hair loss, you'll feel a little more energized and they might help you sleep better, with the sleep that you will be able to get anyway..lol..well good luck

Well it can happen before you go to your six week check up I have heard of that! As for me, I have a seven month old daughter and am 12 weeks pregnant. This one was totally a surprise to us as I had fertility problems before having the first and assumed that it wouldn't happen again so easily. Wrong!
I would say wait a year if not possible then no earlier than six months after your prior pregnancy. You should have at least six months to recover yourself.

Doctors say your body needs a year to recover before the next pregnancy. I found out I was preggy with our second when our first child was 13 months, so I pretty much followed that advice. It worked well for me. While the eldest was potty training, it was easy to take her every 5 seconds when I needed to pee too. She started talking 1 week before baby brother was born, so that worked too. Its hard having 1 training and 1 newborn, so think hard before you go planning your next. At that age, only a few months older can make your life alot easier. There is 2 1/2 years between my 2nd and 3rd and that was a good gap too.

My plan is to try on the existing baby's first birthday. It's a year of rest and then some if you don't get pregnant right away. I've seen people with kids 11mos apart, but the second pregnancy was a real doosie. Bed rest at 6mos and a premie. So I say a year at least is good.

As long as you need to wait so you don't go insane with all the demands of little ones.
Most moms I know wait until either their first is done breast feeding, is potty trained, or has started kindergarten. It just depends on how much work you can handle at once. I recommend at least waiting until your first is done breast feeding since both breast feeding and being pregnant pull an enourmous amount of nutrients from your body.

I have been given pregnant with #2 while #a million replaced into approximately 7 months previous. We have been waiting and decide for our young toddlers close in age. The scientific expert reported each thing appeared solid and healthful and that there replaced into no reason to attend if we did no longer decide for too... so we did no longer.

Pregnancy is a major trauma to the body and the body is deficient of minerals.
