Recent Asia news a male massager (masseur) was charged for molesting female clients.A friend of mine, male ,went to massage and was being "molested and raped " by a female massager (masseuse) why she was not charged?

Men can be molested. However, most men are not going to complain when a female masseuse rubs him in an erotic way. Hell that's why most men get a massage. Also usually most men are strong enough to stop the average woman from doing anything they don't like. The woman wasn't charged because he didn't press charges, he would be the laughing stock of the city especially if the female was pretty.

Wow there are a lot of factors here to consider.
First, the evidence that prosecutors require are different. One pros. might think he/she has enough and will take the case to court. Another might look at that same case and say he/she doesn't have enough.
Second, if the male didn't report it or reported it much later than one could reasonable say was reasonable that could affect the charge question.
Third, (this is prob the answer you were looking for) is that men are less believable when it comes to female on male molesting than the vice versa. This is due to the stereotype that only men can harrass and only women can be harrassed.

Just so, your friend didn't make a complaint, and what the masseur did was probably beyond the bounds of what's supposed to go on during a massage. Just touching doesn't equal molestation. For it to count during a massage it has to be sexual, and without the consent of the client.

Most guys would love to get molested by their masseuse. But that is a bit suspect that the masseur was arrested for being handsy. Its his job! If your friend felt that violated he would have filed charges. He should still if it is that big a deal.

I have read up on this , but alas cannot post sources.
In general.. men can be molested in various ways by both women and men .. but world wide society turns a blind eye.
The party line .. seen even in the courts . as well as the man down the street is:
A man who has been molested is not a "manly" man .. even worse than a woman who has been raped.
Because of this attitude there is so much shame that it isn't reported much, and rarely procuited if it is reported.

You would have to ask the police of the jurisdiction the alleged molestation took place. Men can be molested and abuse. Though they are less apt to report it and sadly, society in general do tend to take such claims less seriously.
Did your friend report the alleged molestation and rape? If yes, the police my still be investigating.

maybe your friend never called in the police and pressed charges. If he wasn't willing to go to court they probably wouldn't have pressed any charges.
