I wonder what the people think. Which of the major companies: Sony, Microsoft, or Nintendo will lead in the video game race. Or more simply....whose console will be more popular? Will the Xbox 360's early start make Sony sweat before even getting off the starting line. Will the Wii's low price and more focus in gameplay give it the power to knock down the other superpowers. Or will the shiny, powerhouse in technology and overall 'horsepower' give sony what it needs to leave Mr. Gates and the creaters of the mighty mario brothers whining and trying to fix their A buttons.

PS3 will lose. Not only is it the most expensive, it's also the last to come out, meaning people will have already spent their money on the Wii or XBox360. However, the Wii's coming out with a few more violent games, and that may be good for the teens who hate Nintendo for its "kiddiness."

It's hard to judge. In this next gen, all systems will be backwards compatible as opposed to previous generations.

In the last gen, only the playstation 2 was backwards compatible, it was a clear winner for most of that time as people could keep all their favourites from the playstation 1 gen.

It will be very interesting this time around.

Watch Apple do it's thing, while the rest of those companies aren't looking.
