like i have a 1.6ghz centrino duo.. and i tried playing battlefield 2142 but it wont work because i have a 1.6ghz processor but then i have a centrino duo as my processor and for the system requirements for battlefield 2142 is 1.7ghz for pentium 4.. like i heard that centrino is x2 clockwork or timeframe or whatever of pentium 4.. so my processor speed is actually 3.2ghz if it was to be converted to pentium 4 speed.. so i was wondering if it is true or not.. and if it is.. what could help me solve this problem?

No, you don't just add the numbers. Each processor in it runs at 1.6Ghz, so you don't have enough processing power to run the game, it can only use one processor at a time. By the way, Centrinos are slow compared to Pentiumd 4s even if they have the same clock speed, so there is no way that game is going to run.

it's more powerful than what you think. it has the word DUO right? it means 2 processors in 1 package. But the most powerful processor is the CORE 2 DUO used in XBOX 360.
