what ya wanna know about it?

Christmas is the time we celebrate Jesus' birthday. Since we don't know the true date of His birth, it was chosen to be on the 25th of Dec. to come before a pagan holiday.

Now what else you wanna know about it.

It has been commercialized so much, you now see Christmas decorations in stores before November. Most people have forgotten the true meaning of the giving of gifts, etc.

Christmas to me was going out to pick out the prettiest Tree we could find.....Boy they smelled so good...spruce in the cold air...It was a family thing we all did together...WE would then purchase our fruit for our love ones to eat when they would visit during Christmas...Make homemade candy and cookies and have a huge Christmas dinner ,,,WE would all gather around the table and say grace and thank the Lord for what He allowed us to have and to share...Me and my three sisters shared a bed and own Chirtmas Eve we would lay in bed and talk about what we might find up under the tree...Until we would all finally fall asleep...Oh the joy we shared seeing the joy in our Mama and Daddy's eyes seeing us so happy .....No matter what we got own Christmas we were always glad for our Daddy work so hard to see to it we had Christmas...Sometimes I think back and I Don't see how he did all He did for us...Whit what little He had to do with...But the Lord always seen us through....Christmas brings joy to this world and if their is joy then Jesus is all in it...For my children they were thought that Christmas was to celebrate the Birth of our Lord...weather some believe that it his Birthday at all....Who cares as long as we celebrate it period.....And we to still share the traditions that I was brought up own Love and togetherness ......Eating and being Merry...

If you are a Christian who do not believe that the Sabbath is still binding but rather accept Sunday as your weekly day of worship, then celebrating Christmas is permissible since both have an origin of sun worship. For those who reject sun worship, you cannot celebrate Christmas since it honors the re-birth of the sun (not the Son, as popular opinion would have it) about the time of the winter solstice.

A great way to take a break from "real" life, relax and spend time with your family and friends. Christmas really is all about family and getting to spend some quality time together.

Of course, the kids get lucky with the presents...but that's just fun anyway!

It's all of a sudden very fashionable to have a bah humbug attitude. I will always like Christmastime no matter what the origins of the holiday are or what people do to celebrate. I have a lot of fun picking out gifts for my loved ones and decorating my home and having a big holiday feast.

It's a World Wide celebration for Christians of the birth of Jesus Christ. Even though historians have proved that He wasn't born on that day, around the world it is celebrated.

Gifts at Christmastime comes from when the 3 Wisemen brought gifts to Jesus. It is a celebration of the Savior...if you take it to extreme with gifts and ornaments, it's your personal decision.

It is celebrated different in each country!! Firstly, we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. At my country, it's a family feast where the whole family unite. We give to each other presents and we decorate the streets and homes!! Actually, it's really sweet!!

Christmas is a holiday. It was stolen from the Pagans by the Christians, renamed, fit to theme.

Now, it has pretty much been stolen from the Christians by the Corporations, and turned into a "cash cow."

Merry Shop-a-Lotta-Mas!!!

:D
