just popped out a couple of keys by accident on my dell laptop. having a heck of a time getting them back in. looks like a hinge on one of the keys is broken. the other key looks fine, it's just not popping back in. do i need to replace the whole keyboard or can i just purchase a couple of new keys?

There is a way to put keys back in a laptop. Just put them in and when you hear a click, that means its popped in. It might not look like it, but just type with it for a while, and itll eventually pop back into its place. It takes patience, im on of the dumb asses whos done it before. NEVER TAKE OUT YOUR KEYS FROM YOUR LAPTOP!!! EVER!!!NOT EVEN TO CLEAN IT!!!

in case you are able to get a replace keyboard then flow for that. it isn't unusual that in difficulty-free words one key fails. in the intervening time you are able to remap keys or use keyboard shortcuts to get around the project or in the run menu variety o.ok.to key an on exhibit keyboard

If the tab on the key IS broken, it probubly wont stay on, search EBAY for your model,the complete keyboard is generally not very $$ to purchase...

you can put them back in , you must push down firmly to get them to snap back, I know I too have done it.
