I'm from Medan, Indonesia. Now, I'm in Secondary 3. I love tennis but my mother force me to play badminton because it is difficult to find tennis club for the beginer who want to practice tennis regularly. Last time, we have found a tennis club but my mother didn't agree because a lot of different tribe students than us and she regard that their tribe mostly bad. What should I do?

keep talking to your mom and explain to her if there is any trouble you will leave the the club and never return there and tell her it would not be much fun hitting the ball off the side of a building for practice if you enjoy the sport never give up one day you may be playing tennis on television for a living

Sports transcends race and religion today and I assume tribes. I am not to familiar with your culture. I guess if your mom is not behind the idea of tennis , that is not to good since she will have to pay the bills. I honestly have not thought about race and religion or tribe before the start of a match. I hate my opponents equally or find a reason to quick. It is 2006 , time to drop the prejudices, everyone is equal.

Dude.... if u love tennis so much wadeva listen to your mum to a game of badminton... u would sure want to play tennis not badminton... heres a tip 4 u: FIGHT 4 ER RIGHTS IN SPORT!!!!
