Which band was more important, or which one do you like the best. And why? The Buffalo Springfield, The Byrds or The Hollies?

Hollies had some good songs, but I wouldn't say they were all that important.

Buffalo Springfield had some interesting and unusual songs, but their influence/importance isn't that obvious.

So my vote goes to the Byrds. I like that they covered a bunch of Dylan songs, and love the sound of that 12 string Rickenbacker.
They were clearly an influence on Tom Petty, for example.

I will have to go with CSNY. Rock n' Roll Woman. Mr. Soul. Bluebird, Expecting to Fly. And that was just when they were Buffalo Springfield.

The Hollies got a global hit with "All I Need is the Air I Breathe." Good song. And many others.

The Byrds are special too. From "Mr. Tambourine Man" to "Mr. Saboteur."

But CSNY is my first choice. My favorite of theirs is "Guenevere."

I actually worked with David Crosby and Neil Young. DC was so incredible.
