I don't think the public of many countries would deem it acceptable to have a gay King. Perhaps if it was a very liberal and accepting country, they would allow it. If so, he would probably be Prince Consort; King, or King Consort, would make him seem to have as much power as the reigning King.

Firstly men marrying each other is illegal, and so it should be. Sadly in England we now have the 'Blessing' ceremony introduced by the homosexual laden Labour Party but I think that as most people find homosexual practice offensive it would be a very brave king who would do something like that. Besides our Royal family is notorious for it's sexual activity and always with members of the opposite sex so that's at least one good point in their favour, there ain't much else.

Actually, even if the King was gay,it wouldn't be socially acceptable for him to marry another man. Their relationship would have to be in private.

Definitely not King & unless they ruled other kingdoms it couldnt be called Emperor.

Also its highly unlikely that a Royal Family would allow a homosexual to take the throne

He would be forced to marry a female in name only and try and produce at least one heir to prove he was a man worthy of being called King.If not he could or would be disposed of title and crown.
