No amount of money will ever stop the inevitable end...you might live a little longer if you have the very best of everything..the best doctors ,food ,help but you will still die. I remember thinking about the Queen mother and how old she was when she died...she had a good long life and lived longer than a lot of people I am sure she was provided with the very best care...but she still died. Money only makes things a little more comfortable for those that can appreciate it. People always think that if they have money everything would be okay...maybe the stress of bill paying and having to work everyday would be lessened but the worries would be replaced with "who are my real friends" and "would this person really love me if I was poor" Having money can make you look better...face-lifts and total body overhauls but you cant rebuild the inside so you're only fooling yourself..having said all this...I'll still take the money...lol

When I was young, we didn't have much and I was a happy child. When I married, we moved to a trailer house and I was happy. When he got promoted, and promoted and became President of the company in Indonesia, with all the money and servants and a mansion and a pool and driver and car and .... blah, blah, blah....I was never so miserable until we moved back to the states and divorced and I became homeless and broke. Then, with no money, I was happy because I had God and no material stuff to get in the way, no bills, no friends wanting to borrow money...just piece and quiet.....I love being poor, NO,.... MONEY SUCKS

The act of falling in love has nothing to do with money. You can not buy a rainbow with cash - natural wonder has nothing to do with money. You can not buy your children's love - the love and bond you share with your children is not based in currency.
The very finest things in life - the intangible reasons for living - have nothing to do with money. If these things mean something to you, then there is more to life than money and money can't do everything.
Peace!

Money cannot buy one's longevity, in other words, long life. I've known, met and talked to a centenarian (106 years old), he lives happily with some money but the greatest of all, it's his sense of humor and physical health that are crucial to his grand old age.

money cannot buy you happiness, love, genius, ability, intelligence, skill, vision, character, poverty, concience...etc.
but money can buy you an island named after you, a villa in Monaco, many fake friends, the love of many shallow empty beautifull women, all the cars you could dream of, fame at the market place.
Ofcourse all those things will go away as soon as you have no money...but the things that you had which money did not buy you will never leave

I don't agree to the statement "money can do everything". Money cannot buy you love, salvation or for as simple as making a dog wag it's tail. It's love that conquers all things.

Money can make a lot of things happen, just see all the people do in pursuit of it.
There is only one thing money can't buy, conscious, it has to be cultivated.

Money can buy lots of things....
if money can buy a milion things, all other things on average buy a thouandth of what money can buy....so you cant find just 1 silly thing that money cant buy and get all 'philosophical' n say 'money isnt everything' because money is more valuable than everything else....by a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG shot.
WTF is wrong with people???money cant buy HAPPINESS???????money cant buy health????????????????????money cant buy love????you just dont know whos sellin em.
This is the HEIGHT of pessimism n defence mechanisms.
Yvan S,
Only the vainglorious attach much importance to money.
Money can't fend off death--> http://www.forbes.com/2002/09/13/longlives400.html
Money can't buy love. (You can buy someone to pretend, but not to feel it).--> http://www.forbes.com/2006/02/11/savage-money-sex_cz_ds_money06_0214savage.html ....money actually CREATES attraction....has nothing to do with pretence....comes with evolution...and love ALSO needs attraction...actually its mostly attraction.
Money can't alter the laws of the Universe --> maybe in the future?
Money can't make you wise, intelligent, kind, decent or likable. (Again, you can pay someone to pretend they like you, but not to actually like you). --> its not about 'paying'... wealth inherently creates attraction in humans...and u cant call that fake...you have absolutely no basis for these asusmptions.
Money can't buy you a clean conscience. ---> no free will = no good or bad people
Money can`t buy spiritual enlightenment. -->spirituality is **** but u can definitely buy that
Money can't buy artistic talent --> you can finance research on what creates talent or just plain pay someone to train you
Money can't buy you insight into great spiritual and philosophical truths. --> it can definitely buy insight into philosophical truths...again buy books, pay professors,go to college, finance research....and spirituality is ****.
And many, many more besides.
