Add the email address to blocked list. It will prevent any incoming mail from that address.
Login to your yahoo account.
Look at the top right corner of the window. You will see "options". click on it. (options > mail options), click OK to confirm, in Ymail Beta.
You may be asked to confirm your password.
A separate Mail options window will open.
There you will see Block Addresses written. Click on it.
in the next window that opens , you will see Add Block
Enter email address to block

or copy and paste the address from the email received.
click on the button named add block.
The address should appear in the box below.

That's it. You will no more receive any mail from that address which you have added to your blocked addresses list.

To Unblock, find the address in the box, and press Unblock

I have had problems with offencive spam and deliberate attempts to con me out of my money. I took the following action. I searched the web for sites that deal in s.h.i.t there are some sick people out there and some sick sites. I wanted a really offencive looking image of a turd. I actually found a very unpleasant image of a woman taking a dump and when I get targeted by spammers and con artists I simply send them the above mentioned image as an attachment. They normally get the message.

I also receive the same thing. You can block the address they use and you can also set you spam or junk mail filter higher also. Other then that it is hard to stop them. But this is what I do once I receive them, or I will email them back and tell them I know this is a scam and I have contacted the authorities. Lately I have not received anymore, so maybe that worked. Good luck in stopping them.

Well I think ther'e a distinct difference from someone trying to sell viagra pills & watches to some creep telling you that one of your family has died in a plane crash.
That's just sick & these kind of people need all the help they can get.
You need to report it obviously ignore it but most of all try not to let it upset you.
It's sad when this is what it's coming to.

Yahoo mail has a great spam control.. and it is free. For about $20 you can upgrade and get a pop3 account and have the email come to your outlook express.

Best thing to do is to report them to your email provider as spam.
Don't click any of the links in them, or open any attachments.
In fact, dont read more than a line..
Most people get them, along with:
Rolex watches, viagra type pills, morgages, update your bank details..
Any that are 'familiar' such as 'hey! Thought i'd get intouch..'
Or 'you have won..'
Or 'your request is being processed..'
Or 'i've checked + only you can help..'
Theyre crap!

Go to your mail page-mail options- add their address to your blocked email address list. You can also report them. Don't open up mail from people you don't know. When you open the mail it alerts the sender that your email address is actve. Delete all mail immediately.

just use the spam button and they will be deleted and report it to yahoo, send a copy of the e-mail to them, I used to get them too until 1 day I replied 1 of them with a big GO AND GET FUCKED!
It worked, none ever since...

Never read them, mark them as spam so they don't come through to your personal mail site. Yep, it makes my blood boil too but ignoring them makes me feel the better person.
