The 1939 World's Fair in NY when 3 years old. My parents 'treated' me to an elephant ride, and I remember being terrified being tossed about in a basket on the elephant's back from which I could not see out.

I remember having my head held down on a stretcher by people in scrubs going really fast down a corridor with ugly yellow paint and i was real small and screaming and crying very hard. My mother confirms this because she said that when my parents were overseas for my dads military job I almost died and she ran with me 2 miles down a hill to the hospital and I was 2 years old. I dont believ in what your friend said because newborns are in lala land and only know hunger and discomfort, even though they will recognize their moms voice and sometimes dads too......................ps very interesting....most people have memories of being 2 :)

NO WAY!!!! The first thing I remember was being just under 2 years old and sitting at the table waiting for my mom to finish cooking lunch for me. She was making fried spam and wearing this horrible orange terry cloth robe. She was very very, pregnant with my sister (that's how I know i was almost 2) Well the front of her robe caught on fire. No one was hurt but it was so traumatic it was "burned" into my memory.
There is no way anybody remembers being a newborn.

i dont think i remember much before preschool. in preschool, i remember my pick bucket (instead of a backpack) that i put stickers on. i remember shaving cream on the desks, and marbles dipped in paint in a box, and melting wax. i also remember my grandma taking me home and making me eggs while i watched scooby doo. i also remember my mom taking me out to lunch like once a week with her friend, and i would get a corndog. but i pretty much dont remember the first 3 years of my life.

My mother holding me as a shield and my father threatening us with a coffee table that he was holding. I must have been 2 or 3.

My earliest memory was when I was 2. It was early morning and I was in my crib. I kept calling for my mom to get me out but she wouldn't. So I climbed out myself and she was downstairs watching Oprah. I don't think anyone can remember before two.

I have always been pretty skeptical of people who say those kinds of things. I usually wait to catch them in a more obvious lie. rather than challenge that one.
