Installed chevey automatic transmission, All forward gears ok, shift into reverse, hesates, acclerate and it will move.. any suggestions. Linkages set perfect.

Low and reverse use the same band, so you can rule out adjustment. Sounds like a sticky valve. Most transmission fluids have all the additives they need to combat sticky valves, but I would add some Berryman's Chemtool and run it a while and then change the fluid and filter.

make sure fluid is full. if it is its a tranny problem try Lucas additive in trans.
