1.5 mm and u can put about 15-20 piercings in each ear.

Just go to a piercing place and ask them how close together they can be...they can give you an appropriate measurement!!

those are the two a similar image. yet yeah, they're style of close jointly. i think of in case you wore rings that carry close, like hoops or shepard's hooks or despite the fact that they're called, interior the front, and a stud earring interior the lower back, then it could look ok :)
