Nearer the time of delivery usually the baby's head comes down. Is this another miracle of nature which has her own way to letting the body and the baby know what to do when its getting closer to the time of delivery or is it due to gravity because of heavier weight of Baby's head?

well babies DON'T always turn the right way NATURE is far from perfect. Before modern times babies and moms died due to the baby being turned wrong or being to big to get out. If nature was perfect every baby would fit correctly in mom pelvis be the right weight to be born without getting stuck. I don't know why it happens most babies are head down maybe nature gets it right sometimes. Good question.

Ok, well I can tell you from experience it is gravity. My daughter dropped into my pelvis at 6 months. I had to go the rest of the pregnancy with a child's head pushing down. The doctor said it was just gravity and it happens.

It's nature- the way the body works. If it were gravity it would've happened a month or two before delivery.

Hi! My OB told me that it's because of the weight of the baby's head. Babies are pretty much clueless about what's going on until their birth. It is a miracle. Once they are born they feel very confused because they are in such a strange new world but they can detect their mother's scent and respond to her touch. So sweet!

It is "nature" or in my opion the way god knew it needed to be. If it were gravity you would never have a breech baby (which can be extremly dangereous to both mom & baby) My cousin was born breech, her arm tried to stay "up there" & broke arm & neves her right arm is paralized

to me the head come first i believe because it's the biggest part of a new born,i think nature uses it as a way to open the canal wide enough for the baby to come through

Think about diving into a swimming pool; your body is naturally
shaped to go head first.
