Ah this is a good question.
I'm guessing because of the whole "heightened other senses" thing they would probably know.

But I had many years when I suffered no pms symptoms so the other people are being rude and just stating the obvious. I had no mood changes, no cravings, no "tenderness".
I only started getting symptoms with my period after I got depression.

I would imagine there are other women like that who have no warning.
Also cramps usually happen DURING the period, not before. So if you waited on cramps as a sign it would probably be too late and they'd already be bleeding.

I'm guessing they would probably be on birth control pills to make them regular,. But nevermind how they know, how do they change and deal with it not being able to see?! It must be horrible.

For those who have said that we can't cook or clean, you would be wrong. I am a blind woman myself - Yes, for real - And I live entirely on my own. For when periods come, menstrual blood smells and feels different than when you bleed if you say cut yourself. It also smells and feels different than normal vaginal discharge. We are also much more in tune with our bodies as well as our environment...We are in close communication with our bodies all the time, so we know when these things happen sometimes days before.

I have always wanted to know this too!!! Thanks for asking this one. Every time I see an episode of Little House on the Prairie and I see Laura's blind sister I wonder this all over again!

Sometimes the blood comes before the cramps. Maybe they just start using a pad or tampon when they think it's about time.

If you have ever experienced PMS, you would know the answer to this question. You don't need to be sighted to know that when you have the urge to climb the empire state bldg. with a bottle of xanax in one hand and a bullhorn in the other and let the world know visciously that you're staying up there til Paris Hilton graduates from high school, you're about to have your period!

Wow. i assume I never seen that. besides the indisputable fact that, I actual tend to no longer think of roughly issues like that. i might think of that individual might might desire to place self assurance in others to help in that portion of life? be conscious: mutually as there is extra effective than colour whilst it includes a woman having her era, some women each and every physique is very, very fortunate to no longer have any PMS or the different signs and indicators that could desire to declare whilst some spots have occured. besides the indisputable fact that, i might choose to think of that what we've study over the numerous, many a protracted time is real... people who lose one sense have the flexibility to apply their different senses in a extra physically powerful ability. working example: If one loses their eyesight, their listening to might exchange into extra gentle.

she gets cramps, mood swings, irritablity, bloating, just like a regular woman. she isn't paralyzed , just blind. she still has sound, and feeling of her senses. she knows when she gets it.

plus blind people are not idots, they do have dogs that help, maybe she has a dog trained with the 'period' smell, and he can tell when she is going to get it, and goes and gets her a pad.
